About us

A Burnley glazing firm, run the way it should be

We work out of a unit on Walshaw Industrial Estate, we fit windows across East Lancashire, and we built this business around fixing the things people hate about the double glazing trade.

Our story

Why we do it this way

Everybody has a double glazing story. The salesman who would not leave. The quote that started at nine thousand and mysteriously became four when you stood up. The fitters who turned up in an unmarked van, made a mess, and were never seen again when the seal failed eighteen months later.

That is a sales-led business model, and it is why the trade has the reputation it has. We run the other way round: we are a fitting business that happens to sell windows. The survey is a survey, not a pitch. The quote is a document, not a negotiation. And the people who install your windows are on our payroll, which means when something needs putting right, there is no argument about whose job it is.

We are based in Burnley and most of our work comes from within about twenty miles — Pendle, the Ribble Valley, Rossendale, Blackburn, and over the tops into Calderdale. That is deliberate. A local firm cannot afford a bad job, because the next street over is where the next job comes from.

How we work

Four things we will not budge on

We quote once

The price we write down is the price you pay. No "manager discount", no time-limited offer that magically reappears next week, no extras invented halfway through the job.

We fit our own work

The people who survey your house are the people who install it. Nothing gets handed to whichever subcontractor happens to be free — which is where most glazing horror stories start.

We say when a repair will do

A blown unit is usually a reglaze, not a new window. A door that will not lock is usually a gearbox, not a new door. We lose sales telling people this and we still do it.

We leave it clean

Dust sheets down, old frames and glass loaded onto our van, silicone tidied, floors swept. You should not be able to tell we were there except by looking at the windows.
