Double Glazer ("we", "us") provides double glazing installation and repair services from Unit 7, Talbot Street, Walshaw Industrial Estate, Burnley, BB10 2HW. We are the data controller for any personal information you give us through this website.

When you submit an enquiry or quote request we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the service you are interested in, and anything you write in the message field.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking on this website. We do not run analytics that profile you across other sites.

We use your details solely to respond to your enquiry, arrange a survey, prepare a quote, and carry out any work you go on to instruct. This is processing necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and for our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

We will not add you to a marketing list without asking you first, and we never sell, rent or share your details with third-party marketers.

Your details may be shared with our email provider, which transmits the enquiry to us, and — if you instruct work — with the manufacturer supplying your frames and with the Competent Person Scheme that registers your installation. Each of these receives only what is necessary for that purpose.

We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Where work is carried out, we keep records for the duration of your guarantee plus six years, as we may need them to honour a claim or to meet legal and accounting obligations.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to ask us to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

This website is served over HTTPS. Enquiry data is transmitted to us by email and stored in our business email account, which is access-controlled. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information.
