These terms govern your use of this website, operated by Double Glazer of Unit 7, Talbot Street, Walshaw Industrial Estate, Burnley, BB10 2HW. By using the site you accept them.

Separate written terms apply to any installation contract you enter into with us. Those contract terms are given to you with your quotation and take precedence over anything on this website.

We keep the content of this website accurate and up to date, but it is provided for general information only. Product specifications, lead times and service descriptions may change, and nothing on this site forms a binding offer.

Photographs are illustrative of the type of work we carry out. Your installation will be quoted and specified individually following a site survey.

Any indicative figure given over the phone or by email is an estimate, not a quotation. A binding quotation is issued in writing only after a physical survey of the property.

Written quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise. The quoted price is fixed for the work specified; genuine additional work discovered during installation — rotten timber, failed lintels, unexpected structural issues — is discussed and agreed with you in writing before it is carried out.

Installations carry an insurance-backed guarantee, the terms of which are supplied with your contract documentation. Guarantee cover is subject to the conditions set out in that documentation, including reasonable maintenance of the installed products.

Your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected by anything in these terms or in our guarantee.

Where a contract is agreed at your home, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Full cancellation details, including the effect of asking us to begin manufacture within that period, are set out in your contract paperwork.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on general information published on this website.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
